We are pleased to announce that Doug Edwards has been promoted to Manager, Shipping and Receiving effective March 1, 2013.  In his new role, Doug will report to the Director of Virginia Manufacturing Operations and will be responsible for managing all shipping and receiving personnel and functions within the department.

Doug began his career with Strongwell in 2007 in the Shipping and Receiving department and has shown considerable knowledge and leadership skills. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Timber Resource Management.

Doug resides in Abingdon with his wife, Christie along with their 14 year old daughter, Delaney. He enjoys playing golf and fishing.
