We are pleased to announce that Shelly Mathews has been chosen as the new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) intern. In her temporary role, Shelly will report to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the company’s new website launch, research projects and various marketing activities within the organization.  She will gain invaluable experience and insight into how manufacturing, marketing, management, entrepreneurism, e-commerce, communications, economics, and science collaborate in relation to STEM.

Shelly earned an Associate of Arts degree from Southwestern Community College and is currently a junior at Virginia Intermont where she is pursuing a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing.  She currently resides in Franklin, North Carolina with her mother.  In her spare time she enjoys riding horses and is eager to learn about American manufacturing.
