Strongwell Corporation Partners with Economic Development Authority

Handicap-Ramp---Arts-Center-5-21-13-005wp(Chatfield, MN)  Strongwell Corporation recently partnered with the Chatfield Economic Development Authority to develop, build and install an ADA-compliant handicap access ramp for the Chatfield Center for the Arts. Located at the historic 1916 and Potter Auditorium Buildings, this ramp is one of many changes taking place as the area is being transformed into a modern, sustainable, regional destination for the arts.

The 5’ x 20’ ramp was built using Strongwell-manufactured fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, prefabricated at Strongwell’s Chatfield location, and then sent to the install site at the northwest entrance to the Chatfield Center for the Arts building. Mike Tuohy, a member of the Center for the Arts Advisory Board, arranged site preparation and along with Strongwell personnel, supervised the final installation of the donated structure.

Strongwell-Chatfield’s General Manager, Mike Jaszewski, said that, “Strongwell is proud to be a part of a community-wide effort to create an arts center with regional influence and continues to support the Chatfield community in its efforts.”Handicap-Ramp---Arts-Center-5-21-13-010wp
