The School of Business and Information Systems for Vocational Training Council in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong needed a versatile solution for their new air-conditioning platforms. International supplier Bumatech provided DURADEK® I-6000 1" fiberglass grating to not only serve as a platform (photo on left), but also to be used separately as visually appealing screening (photo on right).
DURADEK® was chosen over steel, wood and aluminum because of its resistance to corrosion. Additionally, the lightweight grating helped reduce the load exerted onto the structural members, and made installation much easier. DURADEK® I-6000 enables a long-lasting, safe platform and provides the facility a pleasant and rust-free appearance.
