We are pleased to announce that Benny McElyea has been promoted to Quality Inspection Supervisor for Virginia Operations.

In his new role, Benny will report directly to the Quality Manager. Reporting to Benny will be the Quality Department Inspectors at both Bristol and Highlands Locations.

Benny began his career with Strongwell in 1984 as a Pultrusion Operator for approximately two years. He then transitioned to the position of Layout Operator in the Fabrication Department for three years, and then worked in the position of Sample Prep Technician in the Lab for another two years. Most recently, Benny has held the position of Lead Quality Inspector for the last 29 years.
