We are pleased to announce that Cody Shortt has joined Strongwell as Design Engineer, Machine Build, reporting to the Manager, Project Engineering.

In his role, he will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and advancing pultrusion machines and equipment.
Cody was previously employed as an Applications Engineer at Altec where he designed bucket trucks, digger derricks and cranes. Prior to that, he served as Plastics Processing Equipment R&D Engineer at Gala Industries.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. In his spare time, Cody enjoys Virginia Tech football, drones, and Jeeps.
