Mark Haynes has been promoted to Customer Logistics Manager

Mark-Haynes-030413We are pleased to announce that Mark Haynes has been promoted to Customer Logistics Manager, effective immediately.  In his new role Mark will report to the Vice President of Sales and Engineering, and will be responsible for managing the daily operations in Customer Service and Shipping.  Other responsibilities will include finished goods inventory control and fabrication nesting. As a part of this change, the Receiving, Central Supply Warehouse and Raw Material Inventory Management will report to Material Control.

Mark began his career with Strongwell in 1995 and has held several different positions within the company. At Highlands he served as a Shift Facilitator during the initial startup, and Manufacturing and Quality Administrator. Mark then returned to Bristol where he served as Production Materials Planner in Production Control, Shipping and Receiving Manager, and most recently Special Projects Account Manager in Customer Service.

Mark and his wife, Tahita, reside in Bristol, Va.  He has 2 children and 2 grandchildren and is currently enrolled in King University completing his Bachelor’s degree.  He enjoys spending time with his family and watching University of Kentucky sports.
