Strongwell Continues to Host Open House Hands-On Fabrication Workshops
Strongwell recently welcomed a diverse group of agents and distributors for a week of fabrication and composites training at the Bristol facility. Strongwell recognizes the need for decision makers and fabricators to learn how to safely and properly fabricate Strongwell products in order to sell and market the products to end customers. This year, participants were educated in FRP design/techniques, engineering guidelines, marketing opportunities and more, and were given the opportunity to rivet, grit, fabricate, and assemble FRP structures. These structures were later installed as stair platforms for working on and around Strongwell’s pultrusion machines. Strongwell understands that providing a free-of-charge Design Manual and on-going training opportunities for distributors is vital to the mutual successes of both Strongwell and its long-term business partners. Value-added services such as this are only one of many reasons why Strongwell remains the world’s leading pultruder of FRP materials.
Thanks to the group members who visited from Environmental Composites, 6600 Services, Landmark Fabrication, Massy Energy, P & R Metals, and Advantic.
Also thanks to our Bristol team members: Stephen Browning (Structural Engineer-Bristol), Chris Lancaster (Regional Sales Manager-Bristol), Dan Smith (Regional Sales Manager), Billy Phillips (Fabrication Superintendent-Bristol) and Randy Montgomery (Industrial Products Manager) for hosting this training.
