Strongwell Partners with the United Way’s Day of Caring
Stepping up to assist the Bristol Life Saving Crew, Strongwell employees fulfilled the Life Saving Crew’s wish list by improving the exterior and interior appearances of the facility. Volunteers from Strongwell power washed the building’s exterior, cleaned the vehicle bays, trimmed the hedges and mowed. The Bristol group included Jeff Chandler (Mechanical Engineering and Machinery Manager), Lisa Wilson (Payroll Administrator), Jami McFalls (Corporate Accountant) , Ed Adams (Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security Supervisor), Shannon Lambert (Master Mechanic), and Rhonda Tucker (Customer Account Manager). During the project, Cathy Casey gave a tour of the facility and explained the United Way-supported agency’s role within the community. This around-the-clock facility answers over 350 calls a month within the Bristol area and provides most services free of charge. In addition, this facility is a second home to over sixty first responders, of whom 45 are volunteers. Thank you First Responders for the continued impeccable level of service you provide and thank you Strongwell volunteers for supporting this great cause.
