Strongwell Signs Distributor Agreement with Lichtgitter Germany

(Bristol, VA) Strongwell (USA), the world’s leading pultruder of fiber reinforced polymer composites, is pleased to announce an agreement with Lichtgitter GmbH (Germany) for the distribution of Strongwell’s DURADEK® and DURAGRID® pultruded fiberglass gratings in Germany, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, and Switzerland.

Lichtgitter targets the industrial floor covering and related services markets across Europe, as well as the Middle and Far East. The company currently manufactures pressure-locked gratings, forge-welded gratings and perforated metal planks, GRP gratings, chequer plate blanks, spiral staircases, stair treads, and ladder rungs. The addition of Strongwell’s premium pultruded fiberglass gratings is a natural and complementing fit to Lichtgitter’s core competencies and existing customer base. This alliance strengthens both companies’ positions in the European fiberglass grating market.
