We are  pleased to announce that Wendy Kohler has joined the Strongwell team as Human Resources Manager for the Chatfield location.

Wendy grew up on a dairy farm in northern Minnesota and started nursing school while in high school. She graduated and began her career at the University of Minnesota in the ICU. She quickly learned that, although patient care was amazing, her passion was in the HR side of the workings at the hospital.

Wendy graduated with her bachelor’s degree while working full-time for a large long-term healthcare organization where she supported sites in 11 states.
Wendy has lived in Fountain, Minnesota, for the last 22 years with her husband, cows, chickens, cats, and dogs, Lucy Lou and Luna Fay – the true rulers of the household. Wendy has a 35-year-old daughter, who lives on Lake Minnetonka, and a 30-year-old stepson, who lives with his five children in Rochester.

After 28 years of weekly travel, Wendy is looking forward to her free time. She enjoys baking and sharing her homemade goodies.
