On April 24, 2014, Strongwell and other employers and organizations were invited to participate in the 23rd annual YWCA’s Tribute to Women, themed Honoring Women of Influence.  The YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural organization in the world with over 2 million people participating at more than 1,300 sites across the United States.  These members are dedicated to advocacy and empowerment of women and their families. This annual event held by the YWCA of Bristol proudly honors women from the Tri-Cities region and their contributions to the charitable, cultural, educational and economic facets of the community.

Strongwell was listed as the “Protector of Peace” patron this year.  Strongwell would also like to congratulate its employee honorees, Shelly Wiseman (Material Control Manager-Bristol) and Judy O’Quinn (Shipping/Traffic Specialist-Bristol) for their continuous dedication to Strongwell and the positive effect they have in the community.
