We are pleased to announce that Doug Edwards has accepted the role of Sales Director, reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Engineering.

This is an additional Sales Director position, taking the domestic total of Sales Directors from five to six. Over the past couple of years, Strongwell’s sales have grown significantly, to the point we must add a new territory for continued growth. Doug’s new territory is yet to be defined.

Doug has worked at Strongwell since 2007, when he began as a contract team member in the Shipping and Receiving department. He was promoted to manager of that department in 2013, before joining the Corporate Sales team in 2017 as a Corporate Sales Account Manager. He was promoted to Customer Relations Manager in 2020.
Doug graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Timber Resource Management.

Doug lives in Abingdon with his wife, Christie. He enjoys golfing and fishing in his spare time.
