We are pleased to announce that Matt Chester has been promoted to Sales Director, reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Engineering. He will assume responsibility for Region O, which includes the states of Alaska, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, as well as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, and the Yukon Territory in Canada. He will continue to work from the Chatfield, Minnesota, location.

Matt joined Strongwell in 2023 as Inside Sales and Fabrication Estimator. Prior to that, he served as Strongwell-Chatfield’s on-site hiring manager for Masterson Staffing.

Matt grew up in Winona, Minnesota, and attended the University of Minnesota, Carlson, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing.

Matt resides in Rochester, Minnesota, with his girlfriend, Lori. Matt has two grown children and four grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys kickboxing, curling, exploring the Mayan ruins, and traveling.
