We are pleased to announce that Rodney Banks has been promoted to the role of Manager, Drafting and Estimating, reporting to the Director, Inside Sales.

Rodney joined Strongwell in 2014 as a Drafter/Checker in the Fabrication Sales Department and most recently served as an Estimator. Prior to his job at Strongwell, Rodney worked with various companies performing detailing and design of industrial equipment, as well as structural steel detailing. He also has many years of experience in fabrication sales and project management.
Rodney is active in the Bristol, TN/VA United Way where he has been active in the Reading Buddies program and has served on several Evaluations and Allocations teams. He enjoys attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, fishing, and shooting.
