(Bristol, VA) Strongwell Corporation, world leader in the pultrusion of fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) and headquartered in Bristol, Virginia, has entered into an exclusive licensing and technology agreement in Central and South America with Fibratore S.A., a leader in the design and manufacturing of FRP components, headquartered in La Estrella, Colombia, South America.

With this agreement, Fibratore adds the world´s leading pultrusion technology to its FRP manufacturing technology capacity, which includes filament winding and RTM light. The agreement enables Fibratore to manufacture pultruded shapes with Strongwell´s technology support. It will also allow Fibratore to further expand its product portfolio for the Construction, Energy, Industrial, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Telecommunications sectors.

This agreement will benefit both companies through expanded engineering, manufacturing and distribution capabilities in the Central and South American region where Fibratore operates.
