The United Way of Bristol recently invited community partners and agencies to its annual meeting to announce that it had exceeded its annual campaign goal of $1 million dollars.

Over two dozen local agencies rely on the funding support of the community action agency. These agencies provide services to those who fall within the Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) guidelines. In addition to ALICE, the United Way of Bristol also administers over 13 programs from within its administration to serve those with dire needs.

Strongwell’s David Gibbs (Vice President of Sales and Engineering) was the Campaign Chair for the 2023 season and was recognized for his efforts in exceeding this year’s fundraising goal. The company was also recognized this year with the Top Giver Award for raising $141,333 during the campaign.
